I saw a Toyota Prius today and wondered, what difference can one person make?If i change my light globes, does it really matter? The answer is no, however, if we all can change our light globes, then the answer is yes. Now, if we are going to get people to change something that requires effort, then that provides a business opportunity.
The challenge is what are people willing to pay to be green and how will they actually do this?
Can we make it easy for them, like the electricity guys that call, change it over and it only costs a few more dollars a month. Or maybe the concerts like Splendour in the Grass that charge concert goers a premium to be green.
What if we reversed this, charging consumers that fail to be green, and in turn, gave a discount to those that were willing to go green already, maybe 10% off.
If there is an idea that will work, i would love to hear it and love to help make it happen.
